Application

Osnovit PRO Epoxy Grout is a high-performance, two-component epoxy grout designed for filling and protecting tile joints up to 15 mm wide on floors and walls in residential, commercial, industrial, and high-traffic environments, including medical facilities. It is suitable for application on concrete, cement-sand, cement-lime, gypsum board, and particleboard substrates — even those subject to movement due to temperature fluctuations or periodic moisture exposure, such as underfloor heating systems, showers, bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pools, saunas, hammams, terraces, and balconies. Particularly recommended for areas exposed to aggressive chemical agents.

This grout is ideal for use in food and beverage production facilities — including kitchens, breweries, dairy plants, oil mills, silos, animal housing, battery rooms, car washes, therapeutic pools, and laboratories — as well as in any environment requiring hygienic, durable, and chemically resistant joints. It is compatible with all types of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, natural and artificial stone (including clinker), glass tiles, mosaics, and glass blocks.

Due to variations in lighting, substrate color, time of day, and surface texture, the perceived color of the grout may differ from its appearance in standard conditions. The final color is achieved only after full curing.

Attention The color sample printed on the packaging is produced using standard offset printing and may not precisely match the actual product color due to technical limitations. Always conduct a test application on the actual substrate to verify the final appearance. Minor color variations between production batches may occur. To ensure visual uniformity, it is strongly recommended to use grout from a single batch throughout the entire project.

The tools used for application must be clean and non-marking — any contamination from metal, dirt, or abrasive elements may alter the final joint color. Do not use tools that leave residues or scratches on the tile or substrate surface.

Recommended substrates

Suitable for standard substrates (concrete, plastered, brick), challenging non-cracking substrates (aerated and gas-silicate concrete, gypsum board, moisture-resistant gypsum fiberboard), as well as flexible/deformable substrates (particleboard, and others).
